Large livestock equipment usually receives more attention, but on many farms, small daily-use buckets often wear out first.

They are moved constantly, hit against fences, left outdoors, and repeatedly exposed to sunlight, mud and low temperatures.

This 14 L horse feeding bucket was developed with that kind of daily use in mind.

The structure focuses less on appearance and more on practical handling stability during feeding work.

The hanging area is reinforced because this is usually the first position to deform or crack during long-term use.

The bucket body uses modified HDPE material with UV stabilizers added for outdoor environments.

One important consideration during material development was maintaining flexibility and impact resistance under cold-weather conditions.

Instead of becoming excessively brittle during winter, the modified HDPE structure is designed to retain better toughness during repeated handling and impact.

The current material system is designed for working environments approximately between:

-30°C and +60°C

The smooth inner surface is also intended to make daily cleaning easier, especially in feeding environments where residue buildup becomes a long-term issue.

Products like this are simple, but simple products are often where material quality becomes easiest to notice after years of use.

At SLHER, we are more interested in how products perform after long-term farm use than how they appear in short-term marketing images.
